With the development of industrialization and urbanization and the request of market for labor, there is the large-scale of the population flows. With the process of population mobility, more rural migrants take family with themselves. Home education is a method of children primary socialization and plays an indispensable function in floating population children education. Parent-children interaction is the most important way which influences children primary socialization.In the essay, the author embarked from the process of parent-children interaction in sociology. Took L city Gansu province partial minority floating population family's parent and children as the investigation objects, used non-probability sampling and unstructured interview field research , discussed in northwest minority floating population family the process of parent-children interaction and its characteristic under the background of family, school and society.On the basis of analyzing theories and relative research on parent-children interaction, this paper elaborated this research' goal, significance and techniques; introduced the sample family basic situation and the background of the floating population family located the school, the community, and the society. Through carrying on the detailed description and the analysis on parent-children interaction process related family, school, social by the case, thus drew the conclusion.The process of parent-children interaction is three stages: finding the problem-analyzing the problem-solving the problem. Parent-children interaction takes the special question or the event involving the children vital interest as the clue, carries on the question solution and the event development. Then summarized the characteristic of parent-children interaction, including: lacking parent-children interaction, the interaction form is single; emphasizing education, but lacking of scientific methods of educating children; the parents are the leadership, the children are in the subordinate status passively; emotionality; life education; religion education; the interaction develops around the specific question and the children family socialization; the process of the urban marginal groups gradually melts into the city modernization. The paper's ending has analyzed this research's flaw and the insufficiency and made a further ponder on how to improve parent-children interaction.
