Study On Employment And Influencing Factors Of Urban Minority Floating Population In Northwest China

Population mobility is an important phenomenon in the current economic and social development of our country,and it is also the inevitable result of economic and social development.The deepening process of urbanization in the northwest region has led to a large number of people flowing into cities and the increasing scale of floating population,which includes a large number of minority floating population.With the increasing number of minority floating population in cities,the problems they face are becoming more and more prominent,especially the employment problem.Employment is the greatest livelihood of the people,but also the top priority of economic development.As an important platform for China's foreign exchange and cooperation and an important region for the development of ethnic integration,the employment of urban minority floating population in Northwest China is related to the overall situation of economic development and the improvement of people's livelihood.First of all,through the research background,research methods,research significance and other leading to the topic of research and research necessity.Then,through the basic theory as the support,the related literature as the support,provides the research basic paradigm and the literature theory support,compacts the research foundation.On this basis,using National Health Commission Dynamic Survey(CMDS)in 2016,through statistical description,to understand the basic situation of urban minority floating population in Northwest China,And then to the urban minority floating population employment problem empirical analysis.The statistical description shows that the floating population of urban minorities in Northwest China mainly shows the urban minority floating population in Northwest China is mainly male,young and middle-aged,agricultural hukou,etc.Flow characteristics of the inflow region are mainly county and county cities,and the flow range is mainly inter-city in the province and so on.The social and economic characteristics of physical occupation,individual industrial and commercial households,employee-oriented employment status,low-income-based employment income,etc.The empirical analysis of employment problems shows that most of the urban minority floating population in Northwest China is in the state of employment,the employment level is low and the income level is low.First,the employment status analysis shows that there are significant differences in the employment status of minority floating population with different inflow time and gender,and the inflow time is shorter and the employment probability of male is higher.In addition,highereducation,rural,young,Tibetan minority floating population employment probability is higher.Second,the analysis of employment hierarchy shows that the employment status is dominated by employees and self-employed workers,the higher the level of inflow into the city and the greater the scope of mobility,the greater the possibility of employment status of employees,the longer the inflow time,the higher the education level,and the more likely the floating population of men,Hui and Uygur to become self-employed workers.The employment occupation is mainly manual occupation,and the floating population with acquaintance relationship is more likely to engage in manual occupation.Thirdly,the analysis of employment income shows that the employment characteristics of intellectual occupation,the nature of private and individual units and the status of self-employed workers,the mobility characteristics of high-grade inflow to cities,the length of short-and medium-term inflow,and the higher likelihood of high income for the floating population of male,older,highly educated and non-agricultural households are higher.The results show that the employment status,employment level and employment income of urban minority floating population in Northwest China are influenced by demographic characteristics,mobility characteristics and socio-economic characteristics.In demographic characteristics,gender,household registration and education level are the main influencing factors of employment of floating population.In the characteristics of mobility,the region of inflow,the range of flow and the length of inflow are the key influencing factors of floating population.In the socio-economic characteristics,the type of occupation,the nature of the unit and the employment status also affect the employment of the floating population of ethnic minorities.Based on this,through deepening the reform of household registration system,economic development and other measures can promote the employment of urban minority floating population in Northwest China.Measures such as strengthening self-employment and developing diversified employment can promote the employment level of the floating population.By vigorously developing small and medium-sized enterprises in Northwest China and promoting industrialization in Northwest China,the employment income of floating population can be improved.
