1906-1949, with the social, political, economic and cultural drastic changes, the language examinations has been in constant change. As a primary school education and university education cause stage, Secondary education always in the center of reform. Secondary language examinations are difficult to sustain the mission that under the history of China, near the beginning of the twists and turns of modern exploration and self-reform. In the development process of modern Chinese language education, language examinations play important role.In particular, the innovation of China's modern educational concepts will greatly promote the secondary language examinations, and to promote the language of scientific examinations gradually. Secondary language examinations slowly abandon the arbitrary attitude of the evaluation, pay attention to the objective facts, and use the scientific education, psychology and statistical methods, in order to obtain causal relationship.
