Task-based Teaching Approach is one of the most successiul teaching methods in the world at present.It can promote the students,learning interests;enhance their satisfaction and it is very helpful to develop their cooperation and active sense ot,participation."New English Curriculum Standards"(2003)demands clearly that Primary and Junior school English courses emphasize on the development of the students'integrated language competence aiming at the students'interests,life experience and cognitive level,advocates the learning methods of experience practice,participant, cooperation,communication and the approach of task-based teaching,making the process of learning language the one that develops the students'active sensibility, thought and experience bravely and promoting the students'cross-culture consciousness and the ability of studying independently.By means of researching on theories of Task—based Teaching Approach theories and through ESL classroom teaching in middle schools,we found that Task—based Teaching Approach call promote tile emotional exchange between teachers and students or students and students and improve personal relationship enhance the interests of students'learning and their study motivation;increase the sell-respect of students;bring into filll play the subjective enthusiasm ol'students; cultivate the social adaptability ofthe students.
