It concluded the general characteristic of harmonious communities throughthe analysis of the essential meaning of harmonious communities, and Drew on thestudy status quo of evaluation index system at home and abroad, then took thetentative exploration to the construction of evaluation index system of harmoniouscommunities with combination theory and practice, qualitative and quantitativemethods. The evaluation index will be divided into two categories, one category aretangible objective indicators, the author called them hardware indicators, including thecommunity economy, the environment, community safety etc.; The other is belong tothe feeling of the human, but is very important indicator which decided whether thecommunity is harmony or not, the author called them software indicators, includingcommunity justice and democracy etc.. Mostly choose easily quantifiable evaluationindicators in order to avoid human's subjectivity and the selected indicators systemhad universal significance, it is suitable in a nationwide area. Furthermore, took theclassification to evaluation indexes of harmony degree. Choose nine representative evaluation indicators based on the actual situation ofJinchang community, weighted through analytic hierarchy process and took theharmonious quality evaluation to Jinchang community through fuzzy comprehensiveevaluation model, analyzed the evaluation results and put forward the relevantrecommendations to the building of harmonious Jinchang community.
