Since quality education was advocated in our nation, the primary goal of quality education has been promoted as to develop the all-round, harmonic personality in students.Profound studies on personality education have been conducted from Psychology, Education and Sociology by scholars, and provided the theoretical basis for the frontline teachers and schools. Personality education, however, used to be strangled in the cradle due to the limitations in political affairs, economy and culture system in our nation.With the revitalization of the national economy and the improvement in the people's living conditions, our society has placed a higher demand on school education, and personality education of students is gaining more and more attention. The reform in personalized education has shown that the maximum value of education is to develop the personality of students.That family education and school education join forces is a prerequisite in educating good students. In the current education reforms, the education concepts, Educational System, the education contents, the education methodologies, curriculum, examination and evaluation systems have begun or are undergoing profound changes. At this moment of major adjustment period in reforms and innovation in education, the family and the school have to achieve understandings and harmony on major issues in order to produce outstanding versatile talents.This study summarized the existing issues in the personalized education in current Chinese families and schools, and analyzed the root causes of deficiency in personalized education from Philosophy, Sociology, Education, etc, levels, focusing on education concepts to find the root of the problems and explore the model used by schools in personalized education to cultivate students.This study used education evaluation as the breakthrough point, introduced personalized evaluation methods, promoted student personality development, and endeavored to explore a reform plan for a well personalized education for students with the perspective to integrate the family and the school, whereas the school education as the main focus and Family Education in assistance.The innovations of this study are:1. Analyzed the apparent lack of personalized education in current schools and families, and revealed its root causes from a high start point perspective.2. Summed up the feasibility of implementing personalized education in primary education by basing on multiple intelligences theory and in combining with the actual management experience. 3. Revealed the paths for a personalized family education from the education concept, educational guidance, evaluation system and other aspects of family resourcefulness.4. Presented the new initiatives that use education evaluation as a breakthrough point and combine the family and school educations to develop students to good personality.Through literature review, interviews, observations, case studies and other research methods, and focusing on implementing the personalized education strategy in GIAC Primary School, this study seek out the countermeasures by investigating the root causes of lack of individuality in family education, and came up with solutions to develop students to good personality by using education evaluation as the breakthrough point and combining the family and school educations...
