Questioning is an important component in geography teaching. It has important meanings and effects. The effective questioning not only arouse the student's interests of learning, practice the ability of language expression, improve the level of thought, realize the teaching goal, but also could use the dialog between teacher and student, student and student, teacher and student and text. Make teacher and student find out and solve the problems creatively. Therefore, teacher's questioning decides the thought direction and profundity of student. The effect of questioning could reflect the quality level of teaching.However, the domestic researches made recently shows that the average of the questioning made by the middle and primary school teachers per class covers 56%. That is to say almost half of the questioning is no effect. From many examples in teaching, we found the effects of questioning are not enough to realize the value of action. How to develop the effect of question effectually? Make it become an important method of promoting the student's thought, and realize teaching goal. Every teacher should face and think this problem.The research use the ways of observation in class, paper testing. Make a survey and analysis in questioning. Join the experience of teaching together. Let advanced theory as guide, lead teacher pursues effective questioning. Focus on inquiry of effective strategy skill in questioning. Let every question arouses student to think carefully. Let those full of personality's answers, which emerge the creative spark could be enlarge. The author anxiously expects that the effective questioning become more teachers'value pursuit, and for those teachers who work in battle line offer an effective strategy in class teaching.
