Based on current kindergarten reform reality and practical research, the implementation strategy of portfolio assessment in the kindergarten is investigated in this thesis. The research, which takes action research as orientation, has used many methods, including observation, interview, work analysis, anecdote recording, and so on. The processing strategy and the reconsidering strategy of the portfolio assessment are also addressed. Some educational proposals are put forward at the ending part of the thesis.The structure of the thesis is as follow:In the first part , relevant literature is reviewed to give a brief background. Then some problems that exist in the concurrent kindergarten system are analyzed. The research methods are also demonstrated at the end of this part.In the second part ,the determination principle of the portfolio assessment implementation strategy is addressed. There are four principles: promoting the children's development, raising the teachers'professional level, strengthening the interaction between the teacher and the children, and suiting actual condition of the kindergarten.In the third part, the strategy of the portfolio assessment is elaborated according to three stages during the assessment: the planning stage, the work collecting stage, and the achievement demonstration stage. In the fourth part, I addressed the reconsidering strategy. Two points arenecessary in this process. That is to compose the reconsidering journals and to have discussion regularly between teachers.In the last part, some situational issues are analyzed. The author puts forward opinions related to the three aspects of the kindergarten teachers, the parents, the kindergartens separately after analyzing the superiority and the inferiority of the portfolio assessment.
