It is gradually accepted that the Educational Technology becomes theessential part in the educational reform. In order to improve the ability ofthe teacher in elementary and high school to use the educationaltechnology, Ministry of Education has issued the "EducationalTechnology Ability Standard for Elementary and High schoolTeacher(probationary)"at 25 Nov in 2004,and issued the "Training Plan ofEducational Technology Ability Standard for Elementary and High schoolTeacher in China"("the Plan" for short), which prescribes that "in orderto improve their utilization of Educational Technology, the teachershould be organized to get the training (no less than 50class) in variousways from 2005 to 2007". Such policies are far-reaching for the reform ofteacher training in China. But put them into practice, there are severalerroneous ideas like the idea which equals "the Educational Technologyability" to "the Information Technology ability"; and also there is a crookin the Educational Technology Ability training of elementary and highschool Teacher for the Immature training idea, lagged training mode, thepoor performance and so on.So depending on the situation of the study and practice of theEducational Technology Ability training, both the achievement and themeagerness were discussed. The author brought the idea that abilityorientation should be think about for the solution of training problem. Inorder to distinguish the Educational Technology from InformationTechnology, the concept of subject ability of Educational technology wasused. And an in-depth study of the More Advanced Integration Thoughtwas made, which was brought by professor He Kekang, for the better wayof Educational Technology Ability training. At last, a demonstration studywass made, which was the case of SPSS based study ability ofEducational technology. So the problems of the training for Educationaltechnology subject ability were discussed in both theory and practice inthe paper.
