The Elementary Construction On The Model Of Cultivating Ed.M With The Help Of Modern Distance Education Based On The Investigation And Study On Ed.Ms' Community Characteristics

From 1997, master degree of education for primary and middleschool teachers in active service was set up in our country, Itsestablishment is the inevitable request in the teacher's specializing course,and the main purpose is to develop advanced professionals onfoundational educational teaching and administration. For the last severalyears, the developing scale of Ed.Ms has extended gradually and comesinto a good situation. Studying the degree in active service will lead thatthey have much particularity in the aspects of learning background andconditions...etc. If we want to reform the cultivating mode of Ed.Ms, wehave to make in-depth and meticulous evaluation according toEd.Ms'current conditions.This research starts with investigating Ed.Ms'study and livingconditions comprehensively, and then analyses the characteristics ofEd.Ms' community. In order to have a good knowledge of the weaknessin the development, we make embedded and meticulous evaluationtowards Ed.Ms'current conditions. On the basis of the investigationresults above, we try to explore a better project of Ed.Ms'cultivatingmode in order to provide a reference for improving Ed.Ms' developingwork.This research selects the Ed.Ms in Hunan Normal University andHuazhong Normal University in grade 2004 as the investigating objects. Adopted materials are《the opening questionnaire of Ed.Ms'communitycharacteristics》,《the questionnaire of Ed.Ms'community characteristics》and《the questionnaire of the feasibility of using modem distanceeducation to cultivate Ed.Ms assistantly》, 30 thousand datas are collected,which are analysed by SPSS 11.0. Combining interviews to thecommunity of Ed.Ms with analytic results above, we make theconclusions:(1)Currently, Ed.Ms don't get enough supports from their workunits, and they have very serious inconsistency between work and studywhich leads to learning difficulties,resistances and study pressure.(2)Cultivating ED.Ms with the help of modem distance education isthe effective way to settle the conflict between work and study of ED.Ms.(3)On the basis of the Internet, the system mode of using moderndistance education to cultivate Ed.Ms assistantly could improve theirstudy cooperation and communication.
