With the development of society, thought ability,innovation ability will become the requisite qualities of talented persons of the new generation, which calls for higher demands to elementary education of our country, that is, the goal of our education is to cultivate talented persons who can think and solve problems independently and have innovation ability. However, the teaching for knowledge pattern is occupied in the current classroom instructions, under the guidance of it, teachers impose the knowledge on students with spoon-feeding method, which makes students lack thought ability. It urgently requires a kind of new teaching idea and method to substitute the teaching for knowledge, and the teaching for thinking is the one that can raise students' thinking ability and innovation ability. Therefore, teachers must have a explicit tmderstanding about the connotation,characteristics,significance and the value orientation of the teaching for thinking as well as grasp the teaching for thinking when it is put into the concrete classroom instruction. It has great significance regarding innovating traditional teaching for knowledge method,sharpening students' power of thought, solving questions ability and innovation ability, and enabling instruction tends towards wisdom instruction.Firstly, embarking from connotation of thinking and characteristics of students' thinking, the author summarizes the connotation, characteristics and significance of teaching for thinking; then the author analyzes the knowledge view of teaching for knowledge, for further analysis of middle-school students' "the thought flaw" phenomenon under the teaching for knowledge; On the base of this, the author analyzes the knowledge view of the teaching for thinking, and summarizes value orientation of the teaching for thinking; Finally, from practice case perspective, the author discusses how teachers implement teaching for thinking in four aspects: establishing good thought environment,changing teaching thinking modes, paying attention to teaching process thought production and taking thought as the core appraisal. The purpose is to arouse teachers' interest, to make teachers have correct understanding and the assurance to the teaching for thinking, and to realize the teaching through the thinking and to develop student's thinking through the teaching。...
