The new curriculum requires the cultivation of students' core quality of physics.As an important part of the core quality of physics,scientific thinking is an important character for students to correctly understand the relationship between things after learning physics knowledge.Therefore,how to cultivate students' scientific thinking in physics teaching is worthy of further discussion.Firstly,this paper systematically combs the concept connotation of knowledge map and scientific thinking,and analyzes the main ways of cultivating students' scientific thinking in junior high school physics teaching and the application forms of knowledge map in teaching.On this basis,this paper puts forward how to use knowledge map to cultivate students' scientific thinking in physics teaching: in new class teaching,knowledge map is used to guide students to make classroom summary and cultivate students' ability to construct knowledge model;Guide students to draw knowledge map and cultivate students' ability of scientific reasoning in recitation teaching;In the exercise class teaching,knowledge map is used for knowledge reasoning,and students' ability of scientific argumentation and questioning innovation is constantly cultivated.In addition,a teaching case of applying knowledge map to cultivate students' scientific thinking in new class teaching,revision class teaching and exercise class teaching is compiled.Finally,according to the above-mentioned design,the application of knowledge map can cultivate students' scientific thinking in three classes.The practical results show that the application of knowledge map in junior middle school physics classroom can effectively cultivate students' scientific thinking,and the class that uses knowledge map for teaching and learning is obviously higher than the class that does not use knowledge map in teaching in model construction and questioning innovation ability.
