| Measuring teachers' information literacy level is the foundation of teachers' information literacy development. Various questionnaires measuring teachers' information literacy have been used by researchers. Because teachers' information literacy is related with culture, the questionnaire to measure teachers' information literacy must be based on culture. Questionnaire of middle school chemistry teachers' information literacy within Chinese culture background were designed and in-service chemistry teachers' and initial chemistry teachers' information literacy and its influence factors were investigated with it. The whole study is composed of four parts:1. The connotation of information literacy of middle school chemistry teacher includes: (1)chemistry teachers' sense,perception,sensibility and volition in information activities; (2)chemistry teachers' competence and skill of using information and ICT; (3)chemistry teachers' integration and innovation ability in solving problems using information.2. The quality analysis results on questionnaire of chemistry teacher information literacy are: Cronbach's alpha of questionnaire is: ICT attitude=0.86, ICT competence=0.93, computer attribute=0.83, cultural perceptions=0.78, ICT use frequence=0.96.3. The information literacy status of initial chemistry teacher and in-service chemistry teacher are:(1) The ICT attitude of initial chemistry teacher and in-service chemistry teacher both are positive, and the degree is between neutral and positive. In-service chemistry teachers' score is higher in affect domain,cognition domain and behavior domain. Positive correlation between initial chemistry teacher and in-service chemistry teachers' ICT attitude and their computer attribute.(2) The ICT competence of initial chemistry teacher and in-service chemistry teacher are between "little competence, and "moderate competence". The ICT competence score of initial chemistry teacher is higher.(3) The in-service chemistry teachers' understand about computer attribute is better. The in-service chemistry teachers' understand about advantage, compatibility and observability is better. The initial chemistry teachers' understand about complexity is better.(4) The in-service chemistry teachers' understand about cultural perceptions is better. In-service chemistry teachers' opinions to some problems are very different with initial chemistry teachers' opinions.4. The investigation results on information literacy influencing factors of initial chemistry teacher and in-service chemistry teacher are:(1) The influencing factors of in-service chemistry teacher and initial chemistry teacher are different. The ICT attitude influencing factor of initial chemistry teacher is computer attribute. The ICT attitude influencing factors of in-service chemistry teacher are computer attribute, ICT competence, culture perceptions and gender.(2) The variables that we designed don't influence initial chemistry teachers' ICT competence. The in,service chemistry teachers' ICT competence are influenced by their ICT attitude,gender and age.The innovative works include:1. Analyzing systematically the connotation of information literacy of middle school chemistry teacher.2. Designing a questionnaire of information literacy for middle school chemistry teacher.3. Investigating. and analyzing the information literacy status and its influence factors Of Chinese middle school chemistry teacher for the first time. |
