The implement of the reform of elementary education curriculum and the acceleration of educational informatization course have put forward a series of new demands to the teachers and the growth of teachers. Among them, the nurturance and the development of the teachers'information literacy is a valuable research subject,in the field of education today.The key of final realization of educational informatization is to integrate the technique into the class teaching organically with the purpose of helping the student to make use of the techinque to improve their study effect effectively, and to cultivate their capabitity of solving problems with information. For this, the teacher will face the request of new knowledge, ability, and profession development, i.e., they must have the capability of IT teaching, they also must have their information literacy reach a standard. information literacy has become an important component of the teachers'professional quality.The subject teacher is a very important part of the teacher-whole, the degree of the subject teachers'information literacy restrict the development of the information literacy for the teacher-whole. But, presently people universally focus on researching the essence of information literacy that all teacher should have, none of them are engaged in the research of teacher's professional information literacy , let alone the research on chemistry teacher's information literacy. This causes information technology training become a mere formality regardless of the teacher educational institution or chemistry teacher individual.In view of the above research background, as a premise, the author makes clear the true meaning of the information literacy of the high school chemistry teacher , at the outset. This thesis mainly adopted the methods of questionnaire and interviews to analyze the current state of the information literacy of the high school chemistry teacher ,in the city of HeBei Province. On the ground of having made vast basal investigation on the current state of the information literacy of the chemistry teacher, the author constructs a evaluation system of chemistry teachers'information literacy , furthermore, the study not only thoroughly analyzes the qualified factors hindering the development of the information literacy of the chemistry teachers in middle school, but also proposes a series of concrete development strategies.
