The Strategy of sustainable development is the product of time. Starts from 1990s, more and more countries took the formulation and implementation of sustainable development as an important national policy, and gradually developed correlated theory researching and the practicing. Recent 20 years, the sustainable development education in China had passed through a historic course.Now it is more consummate and Systematical, and has made certain progress in the domain of elementary education and the higher education. But overall, the educated practices and fundamental research of our country on this project is still at the start phase.Especially,institutions of higher learning plays an important part in personnel training and the intelligence support, but the sustainable development education implementation there was still insufficiently widespread, thorough and comprehensive.This paper unions the knowledge of curriculum teaching, environment, the resources, the life science and other fields, takes the development of Sustainable development Education curriculum in universities as the breakthrough point, discusses the effective way of implying sustainable development education. The paper mainly divides into five major parts:First part, introductory remarks part introduces question background, present research situation and background, and briefly introduces main research technique.Second part, it introduces the sustainable development education theories. Elaborated the sustainable development, the sustainable development education concept and the connotation, enumerates the overseas sustainable development education examples, and analyzes achievement and existence insufficiency which sustainable development education of our country obtains.Third part, it outlines the research situation of sustainable development education in universities of our country. From aspects such as teachers strength, curriculum, discipline construction, campus culture construction and implementation way to analyze the sustainable development education implementation situation of institutions of higher learning of our country.Fourth part, it studies and develops the "Sustainable development Education" curriculum of institutions of higher learning. Union university actual situation and sustainable development education idea, analyze curriculum significance, goal and content, uses cases to design teaching principle, the educational model and the teaching appraisal and so on. This part is the key point of this article. Fifth part, the enlightenment part summarizes the elaboration which the related sustainable development content and "Sustainable development Education" curriculum develops, carries on the last summary to the full text.
