In order to better understand and practice the spirit of the new curriculum reform, the author on the new curriculum one of the goals:to promote students’ lifelong development of the theoretical basis for departure, traced the source of the goal of curriculum reform is understood as "sustainable development "concept. Development order:the formation of the concept of sustainable development under the guidance of education for sustainable development in education for sustainable development based on the STS idea and physical disciplines PTS thinking and produced a corresponding mode of teaching and approach.Overview section of this paper, the theory of "sustainable development", the origin of the theory of sustainable development of the sort, and on this basis, the concept of a new definition of sustainable development; education for sustainable development, the human and physical requirements and the role of teachers in Education for Sustainable Development made a systematic exposition.Since the theory of sustainable development for a long time for this, the authors followed the implementation of the Education for Sustainable Development for teachers and students conducted a survey and interviews, and derive a great deal of real information. Data analysis showed that:the concept of sustainable development to truly implement a long way to go, one of the most critical problem is that teachers lack of knowledge on the sustainable development concept.The actual survey analysis, the author proposed the teaching strategies of education for sustainable development. Around the content of education for sustainable development, curriculum resources of the beginning of high school physics textbooks involving such issues were consolidated and individual long-term teaching practice, examples of the specific case of the inside and outside the classroom, in order to initiate, and hope in the new curriculum reform, the emergence of more and more effective practice in education for sustainable development, training to meet the needs of the future development of all kinds of talents.
