Primary And Secondary Schools Sustainable Development Education Programs To Build The Initial Exploration

Development is human beings' eternal theme. When rethinking the crisis of development, we strive to explore a new pattern, thus giving birth to the thought and strategy of sustainable development. It is meant to do no harm to the development of our later generations as well as meet the demands of contemporary one. As national conditions indicates, carrying out the sustainable strategy is the necessity of China's full-scale development, ensuring our country's splendid future.The significance of sustainable education lies in the fact that education is the vital component of the strategy of sustainable development, almost dealing with its every part. Its essence is to cultivate educators, equipping them with sustainable qualities and abilities. The footing has converted from single environmental protection in the past to the thought about the whole society's development pattern and future.Since education of primary and junior middle school is fundamental, general and involving all people, in accordance with the times, the curriculum of education of primary and junior middle school aims at helping educators form proper world views and social values, fostering their innovation spirits, practical abilities and environmental understanding ,etc. Consequently, to carry out education of sustainable development during elementary education appears especially important. After consulting many famous works and searching online, I work out the general aim of education of sustainable development according to the overall and practical features of curriculum and the laws of students' metal development. In three aspects ---attitude and view, knowledge and comprehension , skill and capability, I expound the small objectives of the education of sustainable development and set-up its curriculum.
