| The mental health education is the important content of quality education in our country, and learning in regular classroom is the elementary model for the special education in China, so the mental health education for the special needs children with learning in regular classroom has become a significant problem, and then education department made the police of mental health education and management of learning in regular classroom. It is difficult for mentally retarded students to cognize new things and adapt new environment because they have the disability of intelligence and adaptation. If teachers and parents do not instruction, they will have the problem of mentality. Mental health education of mentally retarded students made the progress in practice by the curriculum reform for mentally retarded students and mental health education for the normal students, but there are problem that need to improve. This thesis is composed of four parts:The first part is introduced the definitions of learning in regular classroom, mental retardation, mental health, mental health education and the education model in the word.The second part is introduced the present state for mental health education of students with mental retardation learning in regular classroom according to the actual situation in Wuhan.The third part is analyzed the reasons which are issued in the education process for mental health education of students with mental retardation learning in regular classroom.The forth part is given the proposal for mental health education of students with mental retardation learning in regular classroom. In face, there are many difficulties for mental health education of students with mental retardation learning in regular classroom, so there must be united with school, family and community, they will create a good environment of health education for mentally retarded students, and share the joyance with the special education for mentally retarded students.
