In the full-scale development of the western regions, how could the religious belief adapt with the modernized development was the matter we concerning. Now, the religious identity and the essence of religious experience have become to be the issues which attracted researchers' attention in contemporary international religion psychology educational. This research investigated 1714 middle-school students of GansuHan, Ningxia Hui and GansuTibetan, using the methods of interview and questionnaire investigation. The Scale of Chinese Middle School Students' Religious Identity is concluded. Using this scale, the characteristics and structure of middle-school students' Religious Identity were explored by the method of cross -cultural. The discoveries of this research as following:The first, Religious Identity is a two-stage-six-factor model. It was consisted by implicit identity: religious attachment, religious experience, religious assessment and idolatry, and explicit identity: self-classify and religious behavior. The scale which drawn up according this model has acceptable reliability and validity.The second, Nationality and grade have significant affection on general religious identity and on every dimension of religious identity. There was no significant difference between boys and girls in religious identity in three nationalities. Further analysis demonstrated that there were significant interactions between nationality and grade in general religious identity, religious behavior, religious assessment, religious experience and idolatry. In 3 grade of junior middle school, there was the most significant difference in every dimension between nationalities.The third, The analysis of general developmental tendency of middle-school students' religious identity shown that the mean of the scale of religious identity above 2.8 in three nationalities, and Tibetan has the highest scale.
