Students’ Religious Beliefs Survey Research In Shandong Province

After reform and opening-up, the religion of our country is in a pluralistic trend. By the influence of the foreign culture and religious beliefs, religious phenomenon in college students is more and more apparent, the propotion of religious faith that university students account for is in rising trend. Study on religious faith of university students is reaching its maturity in our country. However, studies and researches on religious beliefs of university students in Shandong province are still rare. In some places of Shandong, there is even no relevant research or study. We are indefinite about the condition of the religious faith of university students in Shandong. Consequently, on the basis of Shandong social sciences research subjects—Students’ Religious Beliefs Survey Research in Shandong Province, this paper attempts to be of some help to the ideological and political education of university in Shandong.This paper includes three parts.In the first part, on the basis of the surveys about Shandong Province scientific topic<Students’Religious Beliefs Survey Research in Shandong Province>, it presented the results by using data form, and made a preliminary sorting and analysis about the ruseults, including the status quo of the believer students and non-believer students, the understanding and attitude about the religious belief of university students in Shandong Province, and the understanding related to our country’s religious policy and the colleges’religious education of university students in Shandong Province. All of those laid a foundation to make a further analysis about the religious belief of university students in Shandong Province.In the second part, a general analysis of the university students’religious belief in Shandong Province was made, then it analyzed the characteristics and the influencial factors of the religious belief. The salient characteristics are as follows:the methods are diversified, the utilitarian impluses were more than the rational choice, and the superficial understanding was much more than the deep thinking. Regarding to the objective and subjective factors that exerted influences on the belief of religion, the author thought that the society and family were the main roles that had played on.In the third part,on the base of the preliminary reserch,1put my research orientation in the essences of college students’ ideological and political education, grounded on the correct ognition of the college students’religious beliefs and the correct ognition of the influence that eligious beliefs will act on the ideological and political education, we must establish a countermeasure in allusion to the college students religious belief problems:Attention should be paid to the college students’ psychological health education, we should:to strengthen the guidance of college students religious through education; promote thorough ideological and political work; strengthen the Campus Culture development and construct thought cultural front; strengthen the management of religious affairs in college and Purify the social environment including religious factors.
