Development And Research Into The Present Situation Of Mass WuShu In 'the Hometown Of National WuShu' In JiangSu Province

Mass WuShu is a major part of WuShu. Whether it is well developed or not, it concerns the development of the whole causes of WuShu and the protection of national cultural heritage. As a social phenomenon, it always develops depending upon the social conditions at that time, and is unavoidably affected by many factors such as politics, economics and culture. Then how can we take advantage of the favorable conditions of the present society and overcome the shock of the unfavorable factors caused by the change of times so as to adapt WuShu to the development of society and better promote the development of mass WuShu? It's an urgent and interesting research topic lying before us. Based on this, the author tries to do research into mass WuShu in 'the hometown of national WuShu' by using such methods as literature reviews, investigation, interview, observation, mathematical statistics and logical analysis. The general route: By looking back on different developmental features in different historic periods in new China, the writer illustrates that the development of mass WuShu is necessarily restricted by social conditions and that it depends upon the conditions provided by social development. In the literature review, it is emphasized that the learners in our country haven't done enough research into the factors of conditions affecting the sustainable development of mass WuShu, which serves as a preface to the following contents. In the body of the paper, the writer bases the research upon some typical towns in Pei County, Gaochun County, TaiCang City and so on, learns about the present developmental situation of mass WuShu and makes some simple analyses, then probes systematically into the main factors that affect the development of mass WuShu, summarizes their typical experiences in its successful development and gives some strategies on how to develop mass WuShu in the end. The development of mass WuShu involves the following typical experiences in the hometown of national WuShu of JiangSu Province: leaders' paying attention, deepening and specification, the latticing of institutional framework, the standing of numerous WuShu halls, schools and training spots, the characterizing of WuShu in school physical education, the diversification of martial activities in the countryside, the frequentation of inviting WuShu experts to coach personally, the insurance of the fast development of economics, the legalization of the development of WuShu according to local conditions, the continuous expansion of the market development of the WuShu industry, the systematic discovery and arrangement of WuShu history and culture easy to inherit, the advanced development of social instructors, etc. The existing problems are as follows: Breaking off WuShu exercise is high rate, mainly during 26 to 35 years old, farmers are the highest, students are higher; The mass WuShu exercise is not well organized and most people practice freely;The cultural education of WuShu in ordinary schools doesn't have an outstanding role; The number of average education years is relatively small on the whole in JiangSu, and the general consuming level is still low; media propaganda has negative affect; WuShu terms are understood difficultly, Taolu is numerous and long, and so on. The proposed strategies for development are as follows: The mass WuShu exercise places are built likely net, and well organized; social instructors'advantage are maneuvered, cultivating amateurish instructors; Enforce the management and supervision of school WuShu education; Enhance culture media propaganda; Develop WuShu economy; abstract WuShu acts, simplify WuShu terms; use for reference and digest successful experiences.
