Analysis And Consideration On Inquiry Learning In Network Environment

Inquiry learning as an important part of reforms in basic education is an important action to cultivate the creativity of students. But in the implement of it, inquiry learning faced with many questions: difficult to choose a question, resources are not adequate, teachers don't have enough knowledge and difficult to manage and evaluate inquiry learning. The network can provide plenty of information resources; a fair, free and open environment; a far and convenient communication platform. So it is possible to implement inquiry learning better in network environment and the space and time of inquiry learning can be extended.In this article the author discussed the advantage to implement inquiry learning in network environment, based on this decided four themes: theoretical foundation of inquiry learning in network environment; the change of teachers and students in inquiry learning in network environment; process of inquiry learning in network environment; using moodle to construct inquiry learning network platform.During the inquiry learning in network environment, students are in a dynamic, open-minded and multielement learning environment. Internet has provided students more ways and channels to acquire knowledge. Teachers and students discuss and communicate equally; they build a learning colony together. The network is free and unlimited, so it means that teachers are no longer monopolizer of knowledge, students are no longer passive knowledge receiver, and they have more chances to choose. At the same time, network as an autonomic and on-limits learning environment, requires students to be more active, initiative and self-controlled.Inquiry learning in network environment must be implemented based on network platform, but now the inquiry learning systems in our country have many problems, they can't give enough assistance to inquiry learning in network environment. Moodle is an open source web-based courses management system. When it is compared with inquiry learning system, we find that moodle has better evaluative and interactive function. It is applicable to the implement of inquiry learning in network environment. So we decided to use moodle to construct inquiry learning network platform. By application of effective network platform, inquiry learning in network environment can be implemented much better in the future, and then contribute to the cultivation and development of student's creativity and cooperation sprit.
