Facing the great trend of economic globalization and market globalization, under the intensified international competition and the rapid development of science and technology, people meet a higher requirement for their sense of responsibility and sense of mission .A high sense of responsibility is the basic quality for people in the world. In fact, the authority of senior high school in our country have conducted many useful practice and researches .However, through searching the Chinese Journal Full-Text Database and China Doctor Dissertation Full-text Database in the internet, we can find that there are a large amount of articles researching the sense of social responsibility of college students. But, as for the senior high school students, who are in the critical time to develop their world outlook; outlook on life and values, the relevant researches are few.In the senior high schools, it is common to find that some students have no idea of the sense of responsibility and are lacking in such awareness .Not only do they show no sense of responsibility towards others and the class ,but also themselves. They never pay enough attention to their study and take a careless approach to their life and responsibility; some even break the school regulation, show distaste in study and skip the classes .Although we can not put the full blame on the absence of responsibility awareness just because of these phenomena, but they are closely connected.If we ignore the fact that the senior high school students are in urgent need of strengthening their sense of social responsibility, and overlook the importance to cultivate their responsibility awareness, it will turn out to be bad for the development of qualified citizens. Learning from the experiences of cultivating the sense of responsibility for the senior high school students in foreign countries, based on the situation in China, we can find out and summarize the ways to strengthen the students'responsibility awareness .It is our priority and the purpose to do this research also.My thesis adopted the method of literature .Through searching by hands and in electronic way, I read extensively, analyzed the information , and summarized the meanings and the theories concerned for the word"responsibility"both in Chinese and English .Meanwhile, I distinguished the difference meanings among the expressions"sense of responsibility","sense of social responsibility", and"sense of social responsibility for the senior high school students", and analyzed the current situation of the instruction for sense of responsibility towards the teenagers in home and abroad ,thus reached the conclusions .Since I am teaching in the first line of education, I can communicate with the teachers, students and their parents directly, thus enable me to get the first-hand information about the current situation of the instruction for the students'sense of responsibility at school by observing and researching. On this basis, I analyzed the reasons for the students'poor responsibility awareness and the absences of the sense. Flowering up, I will state the necessities to strengthen the sense of responsibility for the senior high school students. It is necessary for the following reasons: firstly, it is quite important during the growth of the students; secondly, it helps the students to carry on the brilliant traditional culture; thirdly, it is a crucial step to push forward the curriculum reform and the development of modern science and technology.Because I am the researcher as well as the practitioner of moral education, the source for this research are my practice and experience in the work. To this extent, the characteristics of this thesis are the method of experience summarization and research method. In the practice, I adopted these two methods to explore the main principals, contents and the practical strategies for the education o f the sense of responsibility among senior high school students. The results we attained from the practice are the following six principals .They are the incremental and multi-level principal of contents and goals; the subjective principal of methods and strategies; the proper indoctrination and positive leading principle; the principal of highly value on social practice; the principle of combing the respect, care, trust to the students with strict requirement for them ,and the principal of integrated cooperation of school, family and society. As for the students, they should learn to be responsible for themselves, others, unity, family, the country and society and also the natural environment they live by. We mainly took advantage of the educational system to cultivate the senses of responsibility among senior high school students .What is more, we held colorful extra curriculum activities ,enhanced their subjective awareness in managing and made use of the education of curriculums and implicit curriculums .The strategies above aimed to cultivate the students'responsibility awareness, which helped us attain the conclusions and experiences about the topic by means of analyzing , centralizing ,comparing ,abstracting and summarizing .Meanwhile, during the practice of moral education of the sense of responsibility in senior high school, we learned and found the existing problems and put forward the solutions accordingly .To cultivate the students'responsibility awareness, the high value and support from the society as well as the development of theories concerned play a part .Moreover, the active participation of teachers and students, along with the guild and cooperation of the students'parents are also very important.The thesis is divided into six parts.The first part: Brief introduction to responsibility, sense of responsibility andthe sense of social responsibility.The second part: The necessities to strengthen the sense of responsibility of the senior high school students.The third part: The main principles in the education of students'responsibility awareness.The fourth part: The main content of the education of students'responsibility awareness.The fifth part: the key ways to enhance the students'sense of responsibility.The sixth part: the existing problems of the education and the solutions.
