Researches on the attribution theory in the educationalfield were fanaticism in the 1990s both home and abroad (ZhangDajun 1997, Gu Shenghua 1998, Zhou Youshi 2001, Wang Shuqin2002).However, among all the researches on this theory, mostof the authors just did research on the relationship betweenstudents' scores and learning attributions. In order to helpeducationists guide their students to find the rightattribution and improve students' study aimly, this paper isbased on the special educational situation in Xiangxi, andfurther research on the attributions of students' maths scoresfrom three aspects: teachers, students and parents.In this paper, firstly, attribution theory has beensystemically set forth. Then, it quantitatively analyzes thecurrent students' attribution situations in the minorityautonomous county according to the investigations andstatistics, finally educed this conclusion.This text is divided into six parts:The first part relates briefly the theory's background ofthe attribution, and puts forward the question to be discussed.The second part expounds the attribution, mathematics scores attribution and their significations.In the third part, the chapter puts forward threedimensions of causality and discusses the relationshipsbetween the attribution and expectancy, and the emotions, andachievement motivation and feelings. And two kinds of theoryof achievement and motivation related to attribution are alsoput forward.In the fourth part, the definite conclusion has been comefrom the data statistics and the resolution analysis on the baseof the status investigation of students' math scoresattribution by the students, parents and teachers in highschools of.In the fifth part, based on the summary of the abovechapters, considered with the features of mathematics learning,students and the teaching practice, the methods and ways of howto cultivate the math scores attribution of high schoolstudents in the minority autonomous county are given.At last, ending words, in which it points out thelimitations of this paper and puts forward some significantquestions for further study.
