The Qualification And Countermeasure Of Complete Credit System Implement

Complete credit system, as a kind of educational administration system, is welcomed by many universities because of its selectivity, flexibility, personality, guidance and openness. Practising complete credit system is great needed in massfication program of Chinese higher education, in the cultivating talent students and in the enhancement of teaching and management in universities. Although credit system is regarded adopted by many universities nowadays, strictly speaking, they are not the "complete" credit system and still in the restriction of scholastic year system. Implementing complete credit system is a complicated and systematic project and is influenced by many factors.This thesis is divided into three parts. The first part of the thesis carries on the overall summary on the complete credit system including its concept, main characteristics and the necessities and so on. The second part analyses the current situation and the trouble in carrying out credit system and points out that lack of the necessary qualifications is the reason why many universities implement "incomplete" credit system instead of complete credit system. The author then indicates the exterior qualification and inner qualification that are needed in implementing complete credit system. The the exterior qualification includes the independence of university and the support of the society. The inner qualification includes the following aspects as curriculum setting, teaching hardware establishment, teaching staff, management and logistics equipment and service. The third part of the thesis proceeds with the qualifications and puts forward some countermeasures in practising complete credit system in the aspects of idea, resource, management, and exterior environment establishment.The author hopes to enrich the theories about complete credit system in china and to make a reference for the credit system reform in universities.
