Study On Flexibility System Of Chinese Postgraduates' Education

Educational system reform is a hot issue in current Chinese postgraduates'education. This dissertation focuses on the Flexible System, taking the domestic and foreign history of postgraduates'educational development, using the academic research on flexible system of postgraduates'education in China and foreign countries for reference, combining the practical results of the flexible system of postgraduates'education in Chinese higher education, deeply analyzing the feasibility of the flexible system's implementation, studying the relevant measures of flexible system, and gives some recommendations.The main contents are following:The first section is the introduction, generally giving the background, the state, the significance and methods of the study. On the base of the current research, the author thinks that the reform of postgraduates'educational system is essential and the study of this dissertation has important theoretical and practical significance.The second section is the summary of the postgraduates' educational system's development. This section delineates the developmental trend of postgraduates'educational system through reviewing and summarizing the historical development of the domestic and foreign postgraduates'education and analyzing and comparing its history of the development.The third section is the theoretical analysis on the relevant issues of the flexible system. Firstly, the author defines the Flexible System through combining the study on existing concepts with author's understanding. Then, the section theoretically analyses the concept, the characteristics and the relationship of Credit System, Elective System and Tutorial System, which are the elements of Flexible System. This part forms the theoretical basis of the whole dissertation.The forth section makes analysis of the feasibility, centering on the differences of the different subjects, the students'personality, the development of the social economy, the needs of the international exchange and so on. Meanwhile, the author analyses the current situation of the postgraduates'flexible system of Harbin Industrial University, Tsinghua University, Nankai University and so on, exploring the experience of the reform and the crux of the problem, and hopes to provide a reasonable model of the flexible system for reference. The fifth section gives out some advices on how to effectively implement flexible system in the postgraduates'education. The main recommendations are the government's policy support, the social acceptance and the improvement of quality safeguards of the flexible system in postgraduates'education. And the third one is the key point, the author puts forward some suggestions on the postgraduates'courses'plan, tutorial system, the management system and so on.
