Time is an important factor in schooling, which directly influences the teaching effects.Along with constantly updated social progress and educational concepts, the drawbacks oftraditional Immobilized Time System continues to be grievous to a higher degree. Whereas itsopposite system—Flexible Time System quickly spreads worldwide for its humanism andflexibility. This paper takes certain primary school in China which carried out Flexible TimeSystem reform as a sample, tries to make a macroscopic description of its whole reformprocess of flexible time system and pays microscopic attention on problems in implementingby case study for showing its different stages of implementing and discussing the researchproblems in every period in order to put up new ideas for the installment of Flexible TimeSystem. The result shows that there are realistic needs and feasible conditions for theimplementing of Flexible Time System in primary schools, and it is an Non-linear process;implementation of Flexible Time System needs a relative liberal reform circumstance;continuous power for implementation depends on school’s consistent pursuit of educationalvalue and finally building up the long-time mechanism for the necessarily of implementationof Flexible Time System.
