Study On Current Situation And Developmental Countermeasures Of Tennis Clubs In Suzhou

As a new style of sport organization, tennis club plays an important role in the development of the tennis sports. Tennis clubs in Suzhou have made great progress in recent years, but they still face a lot of problems and difficulties. The thesis focus on the key issues for the development of tennis clubs, by using of the law of documents and materials, questionnaire investigation method to give some advice to the development of tennis clubs in Suzhou.Result: (1) The region distribution of tennis clubs in Suzhou is broader, and tennis clubs in Suzhou can be classified into three types. (2) Although the managers of tennis clubs have high educational level, the tennis clubs are short of the management talents who know sports as well as good at management; The structure of age of coaches is younger, major of them short of guiding experience and without related documents, and the status of coaches in clubs is lower. (3) Most of the members of tennis clubs in Suzhou are young men, they have higher educational level and higher incomes; The main purposes of them are entertainment and fitness, Busy and bad weather are the main factors affecting members participate in clubs'activities. (4) Although tennis association in Suzhou is a relatively complete organization, it plays little role in actual work; Most of tennis clubs work out comprehensive rules and regulations , but it's extremely difficult to put them into effect; Open membership system is commonly used , and the match between members is the main form of activity.Count Measures: (1)Relevant policies and regulations should be improved to strengthen the management of tennis clubs. (2)Association of tennis club should plays it's functions to promote clubs develop. (3) Clubs should strengthen cooperation and explore ways to raise funds. (4)Tennis Association should regularly organize forums for managers to discuss management of clubs. (5)Sport authorities and college should training coaches together to enhance the quality and capacity of coaches. (6)Tournaments in tennis clubs and between clubs should be further improved.
