Ⅰ. The background meaning of writing this article and research ways and thinking. The problem that middle school students are poor at math is an urge problem that must be solved in order to adapt the development of modern society. In order to have a healthy and steady development in future society, we must try to prevent groups of low cultural level and low quality poor students come into society. The most efficient way, L think, is to transform them during study period. When we transform successfully, make them feel easy, we can change their fate and low the foundation of growth healthily. So the poor students in maths and their relations are the direst beneficiaries of this subject. In fact, not only students but also each student in his class will benefit from this subject. When they get along with the poor student, they will learn how to cooperate, how to care for each other, thus creating an equal, friendly, unity and harmony atmosphere. It will do good to their living ability, adapting with each other and the improvement of their quality. It is important both to transform poor students and cultivate good students to country sand society. If you really experience the process of transforming poor students in maths, you will find the research that you have heard before by thinking about and studying lots of deeper problems. That way, you'll develop yourself into a new higher lever.Ⅱ. Expound the complication of middle school students at maths by analysing, studying them and looking up data related. Fist of all, here are three standards to judge poor students at maths. First, Subject Standard: students will be qualified if they can pass the examination in fixed time by working hard. Otherwise they're poor students at maths. Second, Developing Standard: we should focus on whether students develop their potential as much as possible. If they do, they're good students. Third, Mark Standard: that is, if a student'name is in the front of name list in respect of the same standard, he/she is a good student. Whereas, he/she is a poor student. Next, there're different viewpoints on what leads to poor students. Some students can't do well in maths because of failure of family education; some of themselves; some of errors and deviation of school education; the others of unhealthy social phenomena.Ⅲ. Divide the students into the following groups based on various causes and judging standards.Fist, we can divide the students into poor students of low intelligence, poor students at maths of high intelligence, poor students at maths influenced by external causes.Specifically, the poor students at maths can be divided into bad memory, short of thinking, unilateral imagination and action slowness. Some poor students at math whose intelligence is normal can be divided into several types: no interesting in math, emotional block, frailty,no correct attitude and no proper method. Some poor students at math who effected by the outside factors also can be divided into several types: interfered students,mis-guided students and integration students .IV. To different kind of the poor student .I come up with some strategies and projects which are based on my careful research to change them. This is the main part of my paper. The problem of the poor student of math can be found in basic education popularization of every country. In 1960's some experts who in the USA Soviet Union and other developed countries have already published their research.Such as B.S.Bloom(USA),IO.K.Baóackhh,B.A.Kpyteukhh,(Soviet Union) etc; In 1990's the problem of poor students became a hotspot again in maths educational area. Some experts in our country like Zhang Dianzhou(Hua Dong Normal University),Tu Guohua (Nan Jing Normal University),Du Yuxiang (Mountain Tai College) couched their collective wisdom and painstaking efforts in math research. Some of them lay particular stress on social experiment, some on learned experiment, some about thought study, some about literature study. The countermeasures are: reform teaching material, cut down content, alter the demand, reduce the difficult; or admit the distinction, shunt in a probable time, remediation. However, this paper mainly talks about how to transform a poor math student for the group of this kind of students. Moreover, served the elementary education. This paper could be considered as a brief summary of the poor students of math in senior school. During the research, I consulted and quoted many articles of domestic experts and oversea experts. Hereon, I want to express my thanks and appreciation to the experts and scholars. I listed some of their works in the reference.
