As we know, math has increasing important effect in today's society, which is associated with every field of human society in that citizen has been asked to own increasing mathematical accomplishments. However, the status of math study in middle school is that more and more students have tired, even feared psychologies to math, many students lose confidence to math and give up studying math, at last, whom are called poor students in math. Poor students in math are not a single person problem, but a community problem. To implement our party education policy and improve student quality, the key is that every student should improve. If bad student's transform problem can't be solved, the aim of quality education "let every student improve in every side" would not be carried out.Therefore, the transform problem of poor students in math is urgent and is a pressing problem which middle school education must solve.Firstly, according to qualities of basement, whole people and development of common middle school and actual status that junior middle school students study math, the theoretical importance and practice importance of poor student change is suggested in this paper while suggests its necessity. Secondly, the writer analyzes the qualities of poor students in math from the sides of inherent temperament, external action and studying action while definite of junior middle school poor students in math. Thirdly, the writer analyzes the reason of junior middle school poor students in math from internal and external causes. Internal cause is divided into intelligent factor and non-intelligent factor while external cause is that negative environment can interfere and mistake the students. According to the deferent causes of junior middle school students in math, the writer suggests the methods of its change, that is, pay attention to mobilize the positivism, encourage the cooperating study and develop the advantage of community education.
