The experimental textbook "Geographyâ…¡" (required) of curriculum standard for senior school is dealing with the humane geography, which is one of the three modules in the new textbook of senior geography for China published by the People's Education Press. Geographyâ…¡consists of six chapters and sixteen sections, including six main contents, that is, population, cities, produetion, life, connection of areas, and the harmonious development between human and gepgraphic enviorenment. It covers the basic contents of the humane geography, thus meeting the requirement of curriculum standard about relatively integrated knowledge structure for each module.This paper mainly does research into "Geographyâ…¡". Firstly, it expounds the goal of choosing this topic and the significance of it in the respects of the present situation of gepgraphy course of home and abroad, and the importance and the function of humane geography in the geography teaching of senior schools.Secondly, by introducing the content components of "Geographyâ…¡", function of content system, and the main features of content system, it analyses the content system of teaching. Thirdly, it analyses the word sysytem, chart system, and question system Using the statistics anf comparison, and also draw a conclusion to the main features of description system through the analysis to every system and every module. In the end, it can sum up the main features of "Geographyâ…¡" in the respects of format, contents, system structure, and problem designs.
