Research On The Humanization Of University Moral Education

With the gradual perfection of Chinese socialist market economic system and thecontinuous advancement of reform and opening-up, people's material living standardhas been greatly promoted, social civilization has been tremendously improved, andideological and cultural progress has also been undergoing obvious change. Thepluralism of culture and values, the awakening of individualism and the enhancementof legal awareness make new requirements to colleges in moral education fromdifferent aspects. It is the special group of college students who are the focus ofcollege moral education, while every individual student catches much less attention,and besides, education method is acutely short of humanization, all of which fail tocatch up with the high achievements obtained from reform and opening-up and withthe enormous improvement of people's material living standard. Therefore, accordingto the states quo of college moral education, this thesis raises that humanization is theway out to improve moral education. In the author's opinion, humanization in collegemoral education is the beckoning of higher education, the requirement of establishingharmonious socialist society, and the necessity of realizing people's all-rounddevelopment. Under the new circumstances, educators should regard the bringing upof qualified successors for the cause of socialism as the standpoint, the overallpromotion of students' ideology and morality as the focal point, and be creative tointroduce humanization in education ideology. Educators should infiltratehuman-oriented ideology into methods and measures as well as administration rulesand regulations of educational management, making education and management morehumanized, receive more human care, absorb more humanism, and better stimulatehuman creativity. Thus, in our education and management, human nature and feelingwould be embodied, respect and understanding would be strengthened, affectivecommunication and mind-to-mind interaction would be emphasized, and a humanizededucational atmosphere would be created, contributing to a humanization system incollege moral education which is adapted to our modernized society. This thesis iscomposed of the following parts:The first part is introduction. It mainly introduces the research background of thisthesis, research purpose and significance, basic train of thought, and the originality ofthe research.The second part systematically generalizes the states quo of college moral education, and puts forward solutions to its difficulties. It gives a general overview ofthe environment of the college moral education and the challenges it is faced up with,and points out emphatically the states quo and difficulties of college moral education.On this basis, the paper proposes that humanization in education may be the way outto improve college moral education.The third part analyzes the connotation and characteristics of humanization incollege moral education. It summarizes the characteristics of humanization in collegemoral education after making a profound analysis of "moral education" and"humanization", and the connotation of humanization in college moral education.The fourth part concerns about the non-humanization aspects in college moraleducation, of which the author gives a relatively comprehensive analysis. From suchaspects as the neglect of humanization in traditional moral education and in thedevelopment of modern society, it finally concludes that humanization is thebeckoning of the era.The fifth part builds an initial form of humanization in college moral education.It proposes that with the view of realizing humanization in college moral education,we should first of all change our mind, build human-oriented ideology in collegemoral education, and then pay close attention to the individual and enrich the contentof college moral education. Finally, we should explore a way to humanization incollege moral education under a clear direction.
