The purpose of education for all-around development is"to facilitate students'all-sided progress, not unilateral promotion and to face all students, not a few who is hopeful to enter a higher school". The fundamental aim of physics teaching in senior high school is to promote all students'scientific attainment and meet their life-time developing demand. Biology teaching in senior high school, which belongs to groundwork but not elite education, should face every student and should be with an eye to their development. So in senior high school physics teaching, we should pay special attention to the transformation of those students who have difficulty in studying physics and try to make everyone get all-sided development and progress. In order to solve the problem of students'physics study, fully elevate the teaching quality of physics, and advance the actualization of the education for all-around development, it possesses important realistic significance to research difficulties in physics studying.With the adoption of the methods of qualitative and quantitative research(mainly the methods of literature, questionnaire, and conversation), aiming at the physics study condition and students'body and mind characteristics in our province, taking the characteristic of physics study into consideration, this paper expatiated the meanings of difficulties in physics studying. Through the introduction of the theory and methods of the measurement of psychological variables and the measurement of educational variables into the field of high school teaching research, the author designed a sheet of"physics study difficulties"questionnaire, which is believable, essential and distinguishable and with which the author investigated a lot of senior high school students, disposed them quantitatively, and researched from different angles the study difficulties and the difficulty causes of formation with which , from students'study and teachers'teaching activities, the author put forward a series of teaching strategies to solve difficulties in physics studying.
