Latin aerobics is an arisen sports event in recent years. It is popular with young people because its rhythm is obvious , overflowing with enthusiasm. With the methods of literature review,expert consultation,questionnaire,experimentation,mathematical statistics,this paperdesigned the plan of Latin aerobics course through the respects of course characteristic, course goal, course applicability, course content, teaching methods, teaching organization, implementing method made the experiment on it in order to test the influence the plan have brought to body and mentality. Based on the research this paper expected to provide a systemic and all-around plan and implementary method of Latin course for Bally Total Fitness club in China. Based on the plan the paper has designed, this paper made experiment on the 12 female clients in Chang An club of Bally Total Fitness for 12 weeks. In the period of 12 weeks these clients needed Latin courses 3 times a week. The health index and mental state index of the clients before and after the experiment was investigated, tested and statistical analyzed and the conclusion is as follows:1.Latin aerobics is one of aerobics sport. It combined the movement of samba, rumba, cha-cha in traditional Latin dance with aerobics, added some pretty and beautiful movements of trunk and arms. It emphasizes energy consumption , pays attention to the activity of shoulder, chest ,waist and hip joint. Latin aerobics course plan designed in the paper is scientific, reasonable, characteristic conspicuously with suitable difficulty and pertinence through expert survey and assessment.2.Latin aerobics course plan designed in the paper is scientific, reasonable and effective. By the experiment it is proved that Latin aerobics course plan can reduce chest circumference waist circumference, lose weight, reduce heart rate, strengthen abdomen and be benefit to heart and lungs function , balance ability and flexibility.Latin aerobics course plan designed in this paper can reduce the sense of tense, angry, fatigue, depression, fluster of clients effectively, at the same time it can increase the sense of energy and self-respect and also be benefit to mentality of clients.
