The author divided 60 female students in Shanghai Normal University into two groups, and taught them Latin aerobics step separately. This research uses literature method, expert visit, questionnaire survey method, experimentation, mathematical statistics and other methods. 22 indexes of Physical Forms and Physical Compositions and Physical Diathesis have been tested and the data has been compared. The author researches the minds before and after exercising via POMS scale surveys. Physical Form includes: height, circumference, waistline, hip circumference, upper-arm circumference, thigh circumference, calf circumference; Physical Composition includes: weight, WHR, BMI, fat mass, percent fat, lean body mass, body water, protein mass, mineral mass, body mark; Physical Diathesis includes: 800m, the grades of sit-up, standing long jump, kneeling position push, proneness in sitting position;Psychological Diathesis includes: intensity, indignation, tiredness, blues, energy, fluster, self-emotion, TMD.The study found that the Latin group and Step group have no significant differences before exercising (p>0.05);While in the Latin group, the indexes of circumference, waistline, hip circumference, upper-arm circumference, thigh circumference, weight, WHR, BMI, fat mass, protein mass, 800m, the grades of sit-up, intensity, fluster have significant differences before and after exercising (p<0.01). The indexes of percent fat, body water, standing long jump, indignation, TMD have much differences before and after exercising (p<0.05).The indexes of waistline, hip circumference, upper-arm circumference, calf circumference, weight, WHR, BMI, lean body mass, body water, protein mass, body mark, 800m, proneness in sitting position, standing long jump, kneeling position push, the grades of sit-up, intensity, fluster in Step group have significant differences before and after exercising(p<0.01). The indexes of thigh circumference, intensity, fluster have much differences before and after exercising(p<0.05).After exercising, the Latin group and Step group have much differences in the grades of sit-up , standing long jump, energy (p<0.05).There are no marked differences in other indexes.The research shows that continuously practicing Latin Aerobics can make Physical Form, Physical Composition, Physical Diathesis, Psychological Diathesis of female students better, especially it can make their bellies and loins nicer; while practicing aerobics Step can improve the qualities of four aspects of Physical Form, Physical Composition, Physical Diathesis, Psychological Diathesis, develop the strength of lower limbs and improve the overall stamina.
