"Solving problems"is the slogan which was proposed in the fourth international mathematic educational conference by the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. Once it was proposed, it has produced an intense influence. Ever since then, educational researchers, no matter in or out of China, are going discussion and research and has yielded massive valuable results in this field. Based on the previous achievement of the mathematic research, the article aims at the state of middle school teaching in our country and combines my own teaching practice and thinking, probing a kind of new teaching method which is more suitable to the new situation ---"problems solving"teaching method.First the article begins with the background and condition of problems solving research. It indicates that problems solving has become one of the"hot issues"of the international mathematic educational research ever since 1980s. As a new teaching thought and idea, it represents a new teaching method. While on one hand our traditional teaching method has played an active part in the past mathematic teaching, but on the other hand it lays undue stress on knowledge and skills as well. So it has fettered the development of the students'individuality and it doesn't favor to raise the students'innovation ability. Therefore manifesting ideas of problems solving in primary and middle school teaching, utilizing solving problems teaching method in the class teaching opens an effective way to overcome problems above.Secondly, the article gives a brief description of the relevant questions of problems solving teaching state nowadays and proposed the principles of mathematic problems solving teaching:Pay less attention to the form, pay more attentions to the practical effect; Create studying situations and study actively; Focus on studying procedure, Inspire students to probe; Integrate theory with practice, Lay stress on the practice. According to the principles of teaching, class teaching method of mathematic problems solving teaching was designed:Create situations——designed problems carefully; Attempt to probe the plan of problems solving; Think the plan of problems solving assessment over and over again. Change thinking style,Find new problems; Apply new knowledge, Consolidate and enhance. Then put forward the factors that affect problems solving teaching. And meanwhile, experiments on mathematic class problems solving teaching are carried on. By analyzing the scores of mathematic exams, the survey of attitude and interest to mathematic problems solving teaching, the actual effect of mathematic is tested and verified. The purpose of it is by studying the problems solving teaching we explore a way that performed on middle school mathematic class problems solving teaching to develop students'consciousness of application and innovation, to arouse students'enthusiasm and initiative of their studying'better to improve the ability of students'problem analyzing and problem solving. It can change traditional"knowledge imparting mode more to practical mode which is characterized by inspiration, and in which students are the principal part."Finally, the article considers again problems solving teaching in middle school. The traditional teaching mode and problems solving teaching mode should complement and promote each other. During the solving problem teaching problems raised by students shouldn't be neglected. Don't instruct student to work out mathematic problems only. Don't only pay attentions to the result but neglect the thinking process.
