For various reasons, the development of Inner Mongolia secondary vocational education is with great difficulty in recent years, especially as the heavy industry city in Inner Mongolia and even in our country, Baotou's secondary school education is in hot water. It is a problem put before us as how to walk out of the present trouble. The writer thinks the application of advanced education technology to our city's secondary vocational education is a pressing and doable good method. By introducing advanced education technology, that is the integrated technology of applied technical means and technical methods. This can make Baotou's secondary vocational education fit for the social needs, and at the same time, can also use the new resource brought by social development actively.The thesis aims at exploring the application of education technology in Baotou's secondary vocational education. It uses some advanced experiences abroad for reference, and brings forward some opinions of how to apply the education technology more in Baotou's secondary vocational education, expecting the result of the research can be used and be effective for secondary vocational education getting out of difficulty and effective for local economy. There are four chapters in the thesis.Chapter one, beginning with setting forth the definition and practicing methods of education technique, discusses the great power function to secondary education reform offered by education technology based on analyzing media technique and teaching design.Chapter two, analyzes the status of secondary vocational education in Baotou using modern education technology by questionnaire. The research shows that whether teachers or students are quite aware the effect of modern education technology in the secondary vocational schools in Baotou. Learning through the modern technology is their common desire, but there is a gap between the desire and reality. This shows the main problem existing in the secondary vocational education in Baotou, that is the outlay problem, management problem, the teachers'information concept problem and so on.Chapter three introduces some secondary vocational education applied education technology and the achievement got and some successful experiences in American, German, and British schools, expecting bringing certain revelations to the research and practice in our country. It introduces professional qualification certificate system in Britain, the national professional standard in America, the professional training byelaw in Germany.Chapter four, beginning with the reforming countermeasures to the secondary vocational education in Baotou, puts forward some countermeasures to the case. The thesis extends and applies the teaching designs among the secondary vocational education in Baotou, renovating the idea and building a high-qualified teachers troop with modern education concept. The thesis brings forward six standpoints: strengthening training degree, improving teachers'abilities of using the modern education technology; adopting inspiring measures, promoting teachers to use modern education technology; increasing expenses devotion, raising money from various sources; consolidating management and building modern technology checking system.
