Under the background of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization, the secondary vocational education is still indispensable, which is decided by the current situation of China’s labor quality is generally not high, but the important role of secondary vocational education in the development of industrialization, urbanization and agricultural modernization is not fully played out.In my life in Henan Province as an example, with the advance of the construction of the Central Plains Economic Region, the secondary vocational education in Henan Province ushered in the opportunity is important, it is Henan Province from the population big province, a major agricultural province changes is the key to the industrial province, to continuously upgrade technology, to strengthen the industry development important promotion, but also the economic transformation of inevitable requirement. I think that the development of secondary vocational education in Henan province must be coordinated with the development of the Central Plains Economic Region. The goal is to strengthen the basic status of agriculture and ensure the national food security. It is to get rid of urban and rural binary structure and speed up the new industrialization and urbanization process. As an important part of vocational education, secondary vocational education plays an important role in the future. In the future, it should be a base for higher vocational education. In this stage, secondary vocational education should rely on the government to promote its reform and innovation. Secondary vocational school should also actively change the concept of running a school, innovation management, service society, so as to promote the construction of the Central Plains Economic Region.
