In the senior high school history teaching, it is a new subject required by endlessly evolutive knowledge economy to cultivate students'historical ideation. As a senior high school history teacher, it is our obligatory duty to undertake this mission and take the cultivation of students'historical ideation as a significant task in our teaching activities.The article expounds the necessity and feasibility of senior high school students'ideation cultivation; it makes a detailed analysis and study on the concept as well as connotation of historical ideation. The article is written upon my years of teaching experience by way of studying and researching the status in quo. It is to the question of the problem existing in the cultivation of senior high school students'historical ideation. The article is based on the senior high school history teaching, under the guidance of education theory for all-round development; it aims at cultivating students'superior ideation and developing students'nonintellectual factors. The article with the suitable teaching method studies the senior high school students'historical ideation cultivation by way of bringing it into the PBL (problem based learning) teaching pattern; it probes into the methods and patterns for cultivating senior high school students'historical ideation.I wish this article, to some extent, could be useful to the high school teaching reform, and could get the effect of"throw a sprat to catch a whale", arousing our peers'recognition on the study and practice of senior high school students'historical ideation cultivation.
