The 21st century is an era that is filled with competitions and opportunities. Every country in the world is struggling hard for its own existence and development .If the Chinese want to ascend among all the races of the world, the development of the creative talented person is the key, but the key of talented person's development lies in teachers. With the prologue of the reform of the foundational education course in our country, and with it further, it is necessary for teachers to change their ideas and behaviors, and to take an active part in their practice.The standard of the mathematics course comes in the background of the reform of the foundational course and on the base of the demand of the development of the mathematics course and students. The mathematics teachers in high schools are not only the guarantee of the smooth implement of mathematics course standard but also an executant of the foundation course reform .But a big margin exists between the roles of the mathematics teachers in high schools of the course system and the expectation of the new course. So it is very necessary to relocate the role of the mathematics teachers in the new course. This article, combined with my own work practice, has made a more thorough research on the roles of the mathematics teachers in high schools under the implement mathematics course standard . It is divided into four parts.In the first part, the contents of mathematics course standard are discussed in details, and demands of the mathematics teachers in high schools in the new course are analyzed and summarized.In the second part, by analyzing the quality of the mathematics teachers in high schools under the current course system, it can be found that there are some disadvantages in the professional morals , business ability and mental levels of the mathematics teachers in high schools.The images of their own are facing the challenge of the new course, the great changes in the content of knowledge, students and teaching in the new course and the teacher's important function in the course reform require that the teacher should relocate their role in the new course. I also point out the necessity of the role conversion of the mathematics teachers in high schools.In the third part, by looking into traditional roles of teachers, I mainly put forward that under the implement of mathematics course standard, the role of the mathematics teachers in high schools is the organizer, instructor, participant in the study of the students, the cultivator of the study ability of the students, the researcher of the community types, the builder of the course ,culturist of the education teaching ,the open teacher of teaching introspect. And by analyzing the factors that influence the roles of teachers, we know that the key is to improve teachers'quality. Therefore, it is discussed in details that quality of the mathematics teachers in high schools in the new course is that teachers should have noble morals, healthy political thoughts, good educational knowledge and strong ability in many aspects. Besides, the condition of the further education of the present teachers is discussed.In the fourth part, I introduce the profound influence and great significance of mathematics teachers in high schools from both sides of teachers and students.
