In the process of the Chinese teaching in high schools, we must highlight the literary education, which can create the spiritual homeland for students and teachers. Teachers should make a full understanding of the contents of textbooks and master the characteristics of textbooks to optimize the structure of class teaching and undertake creativity education actively. However, the existing problem for the present learning Chinese textbooks is still"three mores and one less";"three mores"refers to paying too much attention to the understanding without understanding the language of textbooks, analyzing the thoughts of essays without understanding textbooks and summarizing the writing characteristics abstractly; while"one less"refers to paying less efforts in designing language teaching at grassroots level. Teachers have not made a profound understanding of new Chinese textbooks published by the people's Education publishing House. Both teachers and students by the People's Education Publishing House. Both teachers and students hold old views on the teaching method and learning method and they overlook the platform function of the textbooks. Therefore, teachers teach for teaching's sake, instead of teaching for un-teaching's sake. In addition, there exist many errors in the textbook, so they bring some inconvenience to the use of textbooks. The purpose of the paper is to make a theoretical thought on the use of present textbooks and the author holds a view that renewing the opinion is the perquisite of using the textbooks. The textbooks should be used as flexible text and the bridge for teachers and students making dialogues. They are another self for teachers and students. The probing teaching method is the condition of learning textbooks. The teaching should transform from the structure-transferring-centered to the studying-process-entered, and from the teaching method based on the Chinese knowledge standard to the improving Chinese quality, and from the teaching method focused on the text to the language. Moreover, discussing method is the key to learn the textbooks; that is transforming from the unitary form of"whole class study"to the three-dimensional set of"individual independent study", from the learning of"lack of language practice"to the"language practice centered."Based on the above opinions, the author combines the experience of using the present"teaching books"and"learning books"and puts forward some concrete strategies for the"selected courses"and"required courses"in the Chinese textbooks published by the People,s Education Publishing House for high schools, which will be used in 2007 .Teachers how to use the comprehensive ideas like"leading organization","optional study","organic union", etc. to arrange the time for courses, accomplish the teaching task, and achieve the goal of comprehensive selection nourishing the humanity quality of students becomes the pressing issue to be considered for teachers in the 21st century. According to the three strategies mentioned above, the paper comes up with the concrete teaching desigh for the textbooks in new edition for the future use and hopes that they can provide some references to create a kind of learning atmosphere of"Big Chinese"for teachers and students and lay a certain foundation for realizing probing and permeating study.
