Mathematics is a science that makes account of ability and method,and mathematical thought method is the soul of mathematical science.The learning,teaching and problem solving of mathematics in middle school can not do without the guidance of mathematical thought method.Construction thought method is a kind of thought method to solve mathematical problems by constructing new mathematical objects,which plays an important role in mathematical science.Grasping and applying construction thought method has a significant positive effect on teachers' teaching and students' learning.Based on this background,exploring the theory of construction thought method and learning about the current situation of students' structural quality is an important link for teachers and students to grasping and applying construction thought method.Construction thought method is the core of the research,and the research is carried out by using a variety of research methods from two aspects of theory and practice.The research focuses on the following contents:(1)exploring the problem-solving theory and teaching theory of construction thought method;(2)investigate the current situation of middle school students' structural quality;(3)analyzing the influencing factors of middle school students' structural quality;(4)throwing out some suggestion about the problems of teachers and students' applying construction thought method in teaching and learning.The research methods include literature analysis,questionnaire survey,case analysis and comprehensive analysis.In theory,a large number of literature on construction thought methods are fully consulted.In combination with the understanding of construction thought method,the theory of problem-solving and teaching of construction thought method is deeply explored.It not only puts forward the characteristics,principles and strategies of construction thought method in problem-solving,and the significance and principles in teaching,but also divides the dimensions of problem-solving strategies and studies the relationship between the all dimensions in the second stage.In practice,a test paper was compiled to investigate middle school students' structural quality,and the matching evaluation criterion and interview outline were formulated.The test was carried out in two middle schools in China at a good time,and the results of the test were analyzed from different angles by using relevant software.In addition,three students of different levels were interviewed and analyzed.The conclusion in practice is that,On the whole,the students' performance of solving problems by construction thought method is relatively general.The students' construction quality is greatly affected by the school and gender,and less affected by the level of achievement.The students have insufficient understanding of the construction thought method,the cognitive way is relatively simple,and the willingness is relatively flat.Finally,based on the above research conclusions,the paper puts forward suggestions for students and teachers respectively,and summarizes the shortcomings and prospects of the research.
