This paper aims to help junior high school students strengthen their skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing, by putting forward experiential English learning. In order to meet the need of the revolution of English teaching, this paper promotes the idea of complementing experiential learning in junior high school. It aims to make students master the way on how to use English in communication and hopes that experiential learning will play a helpful role in English teaching of junior high school. In this paper, the experiential research method and the questionnaire are used. On the basis of wide collection of internal and external material from junior English teaching, the experiential learning is used to meet the need of English teaching, leading the education to all-round development.The first chapter is about the theoretical bases of experiential learning. It introduces the definition of the experiential learning, and its explanation in philosophy, psychology and pedagogy. Then it introduces the spiritual root of the experiential learning. The last part is about the theoretical model of the experiential learning and the research situation in and out of our country.The second chapter is the empirical study. Two classes are chosen in No. 5 Junior High School: one is taken as the experiential class, and the other is taken as the contrast class. The whole study is divided into three parts. Firstly, the scores between the experiential class and the contrast class are compared. Secondly, the experiential learning is utilized to teach the experiential class in listening, speaking, reading and writing. At the same time, the students'class performances are recorded down. Thirdly, through comparing the final examination scores in the end of the term, the results are obtained.In conclusion, it obtains the following results: experiential leaning has an effective influence on the English study, which has changed the traditional learning style. The true, interesting and meaningful activities encourage the students to participate in the classroom activities actively and encourage the students to utilize all the language sources. It makes the students use all the language knowledge. Experiential learning also provides the students with a lot of chances to use English. It has the advantage of the acquiring language. Experiential learning could cultivate and develop the students'ability of creation and practice, the ability of analyzing and solving the problems, and the ability of cooperation.
