Career indecision is one of the most important concepts in the field of vocational psychology, which has significant effect on graduate students'career development. Considering internal and external researches, Chinese graduate students characters and Chinese culture, Career Decision-making Questionnaire (CDDQ) was adjusted in the Chinese culture. The reliability and validity of CDDQ was validated. Then statistic analysis of CDDQ was conducted, and the path model of career indecision, career insight and career identity was constructed and valided.First, in Huazhong University of science and technology, 200 fresh and senior graduate students were chosed randomly to fill the 53-item questionnaires, which were from 10 different majors covering science, engineering, liberal arts, and management. After data analysis was conducted, the questionnires was adjusted to 27 items according to certain criterias. 219 pieces of valid 27-item questionnaires were collected from other fresh and senior graduate students in different majors covering science, engineering, liberal arts, and management. The internal consistency reliability, concurrent validity and construct validity were valided. Then statistic analysises were conducted. Finally, based on the career motivation model (London, 1993), which presenting the correlations among career insight, career identity and career resbound, and considering the background of participants who get job chance but still stay ouside the company, a path model among career indecision, career insight, and career identity was builed. The model was valided by the data from 56 graduate students who have been employed by different enterprises. The results indicate that each item has good discriminability; overall scale and five subscales have comparatively good internal consistency reliability, concurrent validity, and costructure validity. Consequently the 27-item questionnaire can be applied in career conselling to diagnose graduate students career indecision. The results also show significant variance in career indecision of graduate students different in sex, grade and major. The path model builded based on theory was valided and presents satisfying explanation power. At the end of the paper, some suggestions on career decision and career consult are put forward considering two factors important factors, namely sex-role and career motivation.
