The Ministry of Education issued the Reformed Teaching Guideline for Preschool Education in sept,2001. Since then, the preschool education providers have held heated clebates have paid a lot of attention to the basic theories and philosophy of this guideline. Schools as well as educators participated actively in the study and implementation of this guideline.Through the qualitative research, this article presents the result of an investigation on the reformation of preschool music education under the implementation of the guideline mentioned above. And the author of this article holds a moderate attitude to the current preschool musical education. This article also gives a brief analysis and summary on the positive factors of the reformation of preschool musical education. There are detailed analysis on the two key factors, namely the music teachers' quality and the development and popularization of the reformed Teaching Guideline for Preschool Education, which affects and limits the reformation of preschool music education. And this article also provides us with corresponding solutions concerning the problems in this reformation.
