The Development Of The Scale Of Athletes' Cognitive Beliefs And Its Application

The investigation takes the athletes' cognitive beliefs as the research target to analysis the influence factors of athletes' irrational thoughts through the method of questionnaire investigation, expert interview and logical statistic, preliminary arranging the open questionnaire of athletes' cognitive beliefs, put forth in the thesis is based on the open questionnaire and interviews ,and analysis of the literature pertinent to athletes' cognitive beliefs. According to the theory of ABC, constructs athlete's cognitive beliefs theory. According to the consequence of the study by the preliminary questionnaire, we improve the theory and frame of athletes' cognitive beliefs, work out the formal scale of athletes' cognitive beliefs, which includes athletes systems and coach systems, competition environment systems, with the 8 characteristics of irrational, and analyzing the reliabilities and validations of the outcome.The results of the study show that:1. Give the define of the athletes' cognitive beliefs.2. The scale of athletes' cognitive beliefs is of fair reliability.3. Analyzing Athletes' cognitive beliefs from the athletes systems and coach systems, competition environment systems, there are gender differences on the coach systems, going step further to analysis, the result show that, the different athletes' gender is very different striking on the coach systems, and the female is higher than the male. On the athlete and completion environments systems, between 19 and 22 age the athletes are easier to have irrational cognitive beliefs and the different is striking.4. The irrational cognitive beliefs of athletes including eight characteristics., personalization and self-worth depends upon achievement and catastrophizing and perfectionism and fallacy of fairness and blaming and one-trial generalizations and polarized thinking, there is a distinguished connection between influence factors and the three systems.
