Research On The Development Of National Educational Televisions In Digital Times

Since 1960' s, ETV (Educational Television) has played the most important role in educational information transmission because of its transmitting advantages such as large number of information and high quality of transmission as well as its better audio-visual effects. But entering 21 century, the existence and development of ETV ,however, began to face with great challenges along with the drastic change of the global information transmission environment, with the impetus of the digitization, network, industrialization and information , and with the development and popularization of the network characterize by swiftness, convenience and interaction as well as with the steep competition of the satellite TV, the cable TV and the radio TV media market. At the times of Digital and cyber, the necessity and the value of ETV, where is the way to survive and how to develop it, has been an discussion focus. This article locates the present situation and the environment on the current ETV , faces the opportunity and the challenge in digital time , and analyses the necessity of ETV from the angles of our country' s conditions, the time demand, the present situation of ETV and the advantages of ETV contrasting to the network medium firstly , and based on this foundation , the article then proves the sustainable developing space of ETV ,which fully embodies the ideas of humanism of education, by means of new digital technology such as network , new media etc., the article finally proposes the new countermeasures which will be contributed to the concrete plans for the future transmission strategy, taking effective measure and enhancing the status of ETV in the transmission media market in order to meet the requirements of self-development of ETV and audiences , promote the development of the national education in the digital times.
