To integrate Modern Education Technology into curriculums is one of highlights of the new curriculum reform, in which computer-aided instruction is much relative to traditional classroom teaching. The main features are the following: 1) static to active; 2) invisible to visible; 3) micro-structures to macro. In addition, it could break the difficulty of teaching, make students interested in studying and then achieve the Optimization of teaching.The structural theory of material makes up the most important knowledge network of chemistry curriculum of high school. It could train students' ability of abstract thinking, logical and spatial thinking. It could cultivate students' materialism value and the scientific method. It is also key knowledge of the college entrance examination.The present research carried out questionnaire and interviews to instructors and students at grade 2 and 3 of high school. The results indicated that common difficulty exists in studying of material structure, and there are barriers in teaching and studying on material structural as following:·writing of chemical bond formation and electronic;·the relationship among polar and non-polar molecules and molecular structure;·characteristics of various crystal structure;·knowledge of organic molecular structureTherefore, this present research conducted the design of teaching difficulty of material structure and teaching experiment by combination of behaviorism studies theory, cognitive learning theory and constructive theory, and utilization of modern design ideas and teaching methods, and on the basis of teaching strategies of modern teaching means.This present research focuses on the following:·courseware production of multimedia-aided instruction;·design and experiments of teaching about the above difficulties with combination into strategies of teaching and learning.These strategies include selective attention strategy, chemical information finishing strategy, network strategy, multiple links strategy, conceptional assimilation strategy, link-prediction strategy, practice-feedback strategy, repeat strategy and conceptional maps strategy.Teaching designs are concerning classroom teaching design of bond, classroom teaching design of Crystal structure, review strategy of material knowledge structure-curriculum design of network review , Inquiry Teaching base on multimedia support- teaching design of polar and non-polar molecule.The main method of this study is behavior research. Teaching experiments were performed on chemical bond of grade 1 and crystal structure of grade 3 by dividing students into experimental and control groups. The results show that it is effective to overcome the knowledge difficulties of material structure with computer-aided teaching by some teaching strategies, and it could play a guiding role in future teaching and the new curricula teaching. Computer-aided instruction courseware and internet courses developed by this present research could help the other instructors' teaching.
