With the development of science and technology, and theimprovement of economic status, China’s status in the world has beingimproved continually; all countries of the world are raising enthusiasm inlearning Chinese. As foreign language teachers, who take the missions ofteaching Chinese knowledge spreading Chinese culture, we shouldcontinue to explore new methods in teaching Chinese as a foreignlanguage.As the computer technology has highly developed in today’s world,the multimedia to assist teaching has applied in the classroom more andmore widely to assist teaching. In teaching Chinese as a foreign languagealso needs the multimedia to assist teaching in order to make theknowledge more vividly and intuitively impart to the students. But how toeffectively use the multimedia to assist teaching to help the studentsenhance memory and understanding efficiently and help the teachers tosave time, and how to effectively control the multimedia to avoid causingminor problems, they are worth our while to thinking deeply. This paperthat takes Mongolia students as the research object, combining with theauthor’s experience in the practice process, mainly discussing theapplication of multimedia technology in pronunciation, vocabulary, andgrammar and Chinese characters in an integrated curriculum in teaching Chinese as a foreign language by examples, and combining TheDevelopment of Chinese make specific teaching design. The paper alsooffers the reference opinions for the foreign language teachers to helpthem rationally and efficiently use the multimedia in class.This paper is divided into six parts:The first part is an introduction, mainly introduces thebackground and source, the domestic and foreign research presentsituation, development trends, as well as the research methods andinnovations.The second part is the theoretical basis, by means of the analysisof teaching designs and the theory of the multimedia to assist teaching setup the theoretical foundation for this article.The third part mainly analyzes the different ways ofusing multimedia technology in different class, such as pronunciation,Chinese characters, vocabulary, grammar and culture teaching.The fourth part mainly makes teaching design of the multimedia toassist teaching combining The Development of Chinese.The fifth part instructs the problems that the teachers of foreignlanguage should pay attention to in the process of designing courseware.The sixth part is the conclusion, which summarizes the advantagesand disadvantages of using multimedia in class of teaching Chinese as aforeign language and the problems unsolved.
