The ultimate of the reflective education practices is the reflective teaching. Reflection is the important part of learning. In the recent years, reflection and solution are regarded as two basic skills in western education field. On the other hand, reflection and reflective learning have become an important research issue and the developing tendency in the international normal education and the constant education. The strong wave of teacher professionalism spreading in the international education is becoming the necessary tendency of teacher development while the ability of teaching reflection consists of the main part of teacher professional abilities and becomes the embody of their professionalism. The development of reflection in teaching awareness, teaching habit and teaching ability is the new way to improve the level of professionalism, the way of education and the quality of teaching.The study begins with the investigation of senior mathematics teachers' teaching reflection. The analysis and discussions are mainly included the basic situations of interviewed teachers, the situation of teaching behaviors, the time when the reflection happens, the content of reflection, the degree of reflection, the way of reflection and the subjective and objective factors which affect teaching quality. On one hand, the study finds out that the majority of teachers have the awareness of teaching reflection. But the formal is simple and they just stress the technical reflection. On the other hand, they only emphasis reflection after class and ignore the coherence of teaching procedure in the aspect of reflection. In addition, there are no clear and specific demands about reflection in many schools so that teachers can't completely understand the meaning of reflection and be reluctant to reflect their teaching or manipulate externally. Finally, though majority of teachers can approve the new thought and theory of teaching, there are certain distance between their teaching practice and teaching theories they have approved. That shows that the ability of teachers' reflection is improved further. Teaching reflection needs the ability of teachers' reflection, which is the necessary qualification for the teachers to carry out reflective actions. According to the result of the study, the suggestion are put forward that the ability of teaching reflection are developed by means of depending on the local school, creating the reflective environment, relying on teaching practice and research, improving the way of further education and reporting reflective diary and so on.
